Karl Treacher
Brand Behaviour’s CEO Karl Treacher is internationally recognised as a thought leader in the area of human communication and employee branding.
With a formal background in human sciences and over a decade of experience in sales and marketing roles, Karl was approached by Rogen International in 2000 to become a high-stakes communication coach. It was during this time that he made the observation that most business people, even the finest communicators among them, could not clearly articulate what their organisation, or the brand they represented, stood for. Companies were investing huge dollars into training their people to be effective and persuasive communicators without giving any consideration to the company’s individual brand identity. Effectively marketing and employee training were running as two disparate functions when they should have been inextricably linked.
After conducting extensive multi-platform research in a number of corporate and retail sectors in 2001, revealing that customers were so often being let down by brands on a human level, Karl formed Brand Behaviour. He has since consulted with companies in Australia, Asia and North America to design and implement strong, sustainable employee branding programs.
Karl has become a highly sought after speaker, advisor and commentator on persuasive human communication and employee branding. He is a resident branding expert at Marketing Magazine and was recently called upon to contribute a chapter on “The Power of Authentic Confidence” in ‘Goals & Proven Strategies for Success’, a new book due out in October this year , co-authored by Dr. Stephen Covey (7 Habits of Highly Effective People) and Dr. John Gray (Men are from Mars, women are from Venus).
